It is true that all of the info. one would ever need for using WordPress is stored somewhere in the WP Support Forums if you can just find it and have the time to sort through it all–all for free and way more than anyone could ever use. When I started my first WP blog over 2 years ago I started as a real technophobe with no clue what to even look for. I can remember spending a whole saturday on the WP sites looking for info. and coming away with a headache and in overload. Then I found my first blogging book -”Blogging for Dummies” with a chapter on starting a WP blog and immediately found my ‘dumb’ questions answered and lots of answers to some I didn’t know enough to ask. All readily available to sit down on the table next to my computor and try out. Over 2 years and 9 blogs later I still find these books on blogging to be more than useful for me and well worth the price. The real problem for me with the WP Forums –it is supposed to be in English but so much of it is in another language entirely–modern ‘techno-speak”. I was a child in the middle of the last century and never learned that language. Sometimes I do get my BS in Computer Science son to interpret for me. With just a little bit of effort all the information is readily available through WP but also by searching for specific topics. I have been thinking about writing a book and one of my considerations has been whether it is worth putting it to print or just make it available in electronic form.. Your thoughts?
